Large Hadron collider or LHC

Hi everyone, this is a bit weird topic to us but thought to share it with you all. Since in the begining of my 10+2 Days , i was desperate to study Astro Physics , but fortunately or unfortunately i didn't went for that course . Even today i am very much interested to pursue that course and want to fulfill my wish.Enough of this intro and  i ll come to the point.

Since three days , a news was repeatedly being aired in the television channels about the LHC Experiment and the doomsday its going to cause.Now, i am here with an explanation about what is it all about and how is it going to effect us .

Well , LHC is Large Hadron Collider , is a gigantic particle accelerator which is built 300 feet straight down in to earth with a length of about 27 km in total . In this LHC , 8000 scientists around the world are conducting an one the biggest and largest scientific experiment in the history of mankind.

Overview of the LHC.

In this LHC , the scientists,by conducting some experiments are about to find out the birth of the universe ( in simple terms ) which can be useful to all the scientists in understanding Particles and their behaviour. All that the scientists are interested in smashing two particles and see what comes out of it.

But the experiment is facing issue from the human right organisations which are condemning the experiment as they feel that this LHC expermient would result in spelling large uncontrolled explosions and hence spelling doomsday for mankind.

Being a student of science , all i feel is , this experiment would be a HUGE SUCCESS and would ultimately benefit the mankind . Lets hope and pray this LHC Expermient to be a big Success.
